Property Management
This involves the day-to-day oversight of properties on behalf of owners, especially investment properties. Key activities include:
- Tenant Acquisition & Relations: Marketing, advertising, tenant screening, drafting and enforcing lease agreements, and handling tenant concerns/disputes.
- Financial Management: Rent collection, managing security deposits, paying bills (e.g., utilities, HOA dues), budgeting, and providing financial reports.
- Legal & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to landlord-tenant laws, safety regulations, and handling legal proceedings like evictions.
- Property Inspections: Conducting routine and move-in/move-out inspections.
